Abstract

 本発明の燃料電池は、カソードと、アノードと、前記カソードとアノードとの間に挟持されて電解質膜とを有する膜電極接合体を備える起電部と、前記前記膜電極接合体の前記アノード側に配置され前記アノードに燃料を供給する燃料供給機構と、燃料を収容すると共に前記燃料供給機構と流路を介して接続された燃料収容部を備えた燃料電池であって、前記燃料収容部から前記燃料供給機構の間に設けられ、前記燃料中に含まれるプロトン移動阻害物質を捕捉する陽イオン交換樹脂および陰イオン交換樹脂のうちの少なくとも一方を有することを特徴とする。
