Abstract

The invention relates to a chain drive having at least two chain sprockets which are provided with teeth having involute toothing, and a ladder chain, in particular for a vehicle drive, which is in engagement with said teeth, which ladder chain comprises individual link plates which are arranged in rows and have openings, wherein the link plates have chain teeth (5) and are connected to one another such that they can move by means of cradle pieces which penetrate the openings. The chain drive is distinguished by the fact that the tooth flanks of at least one tooth of at least one of the chain sprockets are of different configuration.
