Description
"DISPOSITION APPLIED IN PORTABLE GAME FOR RACKET"
The present request of patent of Utility Model refers to a new "DISPOSITION APPLIED IN PORTABLE GAME FOR RACKET", especially of a new constructive disposition with the purpose of having control on the balls used in a game popularly known as "frescobol" (beach tennis) that allows, for being the ball linked to an one-line element, that the balls don't get lost, don't go away too much, or even don't cause any accident, besides presenting portability, easy installation (being enough to overlap it to the floor) and finally possibility of adjustment of the dimension of the one-line element and consequently of the reach of the ball.
It is known by most of the people that the "frescobol" (beach tennis) is a game practiced in competition level or for simple pleasure, having been originated at the beaches of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, last century. Basically, the game has two players, one in front of the other, that use wood rackets to beat in a hollow ball of rubber played in the direction of the referred players. Its Brazilian denomination is derived of the place where it is practiced, in other words, the fresher place ("fresco") of the beach: in the edge of water. The name in English refers to the place where the game occurs - in the beach. The only objective of that game is to maintain the ball in the air the largest possible time. Adversity doesn't exist in that game and yes amusement and pleasure. There are no losers, nor winners, because on the other side there is not an opponent, but a partner.
Historically "frescobol" (beach tennis), also known as racket game, was called "Fresh Thing" and "Fresh Game" and just after "Frescobol" (beach tennis). But the "frescobol" (beach tennis) players don't care about the name and adopted it, which is defined in the Brazilian dictionary Aurelio as a game for two
partners, practiced outdoors, especially on the beaches and in which is used rubber rackets and balls.
As already commented, in "frescobol" (beach tennis) there is no discrimination, everybody fraternize each other; there are no social, economic, political, or racial differences, neither sex discrimination. Everybody can play it, since children until senior people
But this equality is not so absolute, because there are Federations and Associations, such as the one of the State of Rio Grande do SuI, who fiscalizes and organizes championships, measures of arena (name given to the field), used material, uniform, arbitration, as well as any other existed item in sports as volleyball, basketball and soccer among so many.
However, it prevails as larger attractiveness since the beginning of this practice, the play in the edge of the water on the beach, which due to the success was extended for opened areas as field, swimming pools etc. In the current STATE OF THE TECHNIQUE, it is known
MU8500770-6 "Device for Game with Racket and Ball" of the same inventor of this request that nothing more is than a device to be used at games that use rackets and ball, composite for a fine tip tube to be put into any kind of nude terrain, and of the opposite extremity of the referred tube projects a signalizing dome as well as a line linked to a purse that then it contains the ball of the game, and the balls lost will be always within reach of the players, propitiating fun without the discomfort of the obligation of seeking, at whole moment, the lost balls.
However despite all the advantages announced in the patent request cited in the state of the technique, still there are some inconvenient, like the difficulty of transportation of the plead assembly, named stake, line and ball. Considering that this practice occurs outdoors, it should consider the
practicability of transportation of the assembly, which by its components and volumes do not fit in a backpack or similar supply.
On the other hand, the conventional model has an installation a little laborious, because the need of sticking the fine tips in the terrain, not always propitious enough for that practice. In this line, once stuck, said tip becomes an obstacle passible of somebody less attentive to stumble and to fall could cause unpleasant consequences.
It is still a negative point of the conventional model the fact of doesn't have a way to adjust the length of the one-line element linked to the ball, being the players always subject to that length, not always ideal for different ages and abilities players.
Thinking in a way of solving the inconvenient or disadvantages above described, the inventor after countless studies, researches and tests developed the new "DISPOSITION APPLIED IN PORTABLE GAME FOR RACKET" at issue that presents particularities enough to make its use more practical, rational, safe and versatile, allowing its utilization in any kind of terrain once that has as installation principle the overlapping to the terrain or floor. Moreover, the new disposition presents a shape that makes it portable and passible of being carried in any bag or backpack, without larger upsets. Finally, the proposed assembly innovates in the sense of allowing the adjustment of the length of the one-line element that links the base to the ball, by means of its coiling to the extremity of the base, and the ball can be injected already with the incorporated line or using a net just as the conventional model.
In short words, the largest distinctions of the new disposition here plead relates to the practicability in the transportation and facility of installation; adjustment of the one-line element; and safety for not being stuck to the soil.
To follow, the innovation is explained with reference to the attached drawings, in which are represented, of illustrative and not limiting way:
Fig. 1 : View in perspective of the disposition applied in portable game for racket;
Fig. 2: View in exploded perspective of the disposition applied in portable game for racket; Fig. 3 : View in cut of the disposition applied in portable game for racket;
Fig. 4: Detail of the fixation ways of the ball to the one-line element;
Fig. 5: Lateral view of the coiling of the one-line element to the base of the disposition applied in portable game for racket;
Fig. 6: Schematic drawing showing the use of the disposition applied in portable game for racket.
The "DISPOSITION APPLIED IN PORTABLE GAME FOR RACKET", object of this patent of Utility Model solicitation consists essentially of a base (1) which serves as recipient for a ball (2), base (1), this one properly, ballasted by counterbalance (3), enough to win the force of inertia of the brandished, keeping it statics, and the ball when out of use lodged in said base (1), just as the one-line element (4) properly linked to the counterbalance (3), whose opposite extremity (5) is injected together with the ball (2) or attached to it by means of optional net, in which said one-line element (4) is passible of length adjustment, directly proportional to the coiling of the same in the extremity of the base ( 1 ), more specifically in a neck (7) receiver of the cover (8).
It is worth to highlight that the length adjustment of the one-line element (4) does not interfere in the brandished of the game, besides enlarging its use for several locations besides beach, such as field,, streets, backyards, squares, leisure areas or any other location chosen by the players, which aggregate to the
fully exposed advantages does not present danger neither to the players and nor to people who are nearby of the location used to the game.
More particularly the new disposition applied in portable game is constituted by a recipient that, independent of the shape, originates a base ( 1 ) of overlap whose volume checks it the particularity of portability, whose more inferior portion has a counterbalance (3) enough to keep it statics, independent of intensity of the plays. Its internal volume should be enough to hold a ball (2) linked to the one-line element (4) with one of the extremities (5') linked to the counterbalance and the opposite extremity (5) injected together with the ball (2) or attached to it by means of net (6), being that an optional constructive way. Once inserted the ball (2) in the base (1), the one-line element (4) is properly coiled to the extremity of the said base, more specifically in a superior neck, in order to pack the ball (2) with the one-line element (4) properly coiled, thence being the base (1) properly closed by means of cover (8) with rip (9) for ballasting of the one-line element (4), so much when in repose or when in use, thus allowing the length adjustment of the same, by uncoiling proportional to the intended length, where said one-line element (4) is inserted in the rip (9) of the cover (8), keeping the due length.
Other characteristic of the present Utility Model is that the said disposition can take over a series of ornamental and dimensional configurations, attending to several designs, since keep the essence of its main claimed purpose.
