The present invention relates to an LED fluorescent lamp capable of being used semi-permanently by using an LED, and more particularly to an LED fluorescent lamp that may be conveniently recycled and repaired and may ensure a security of a user, decrease an eyestrain and increase a security through a heat emission function of the LED fluorescent lamp.
[Background Art]
An LED fluorescent lamp has been developed for solving a problem of a conventional fluorescent lamp used in most of house and office and so on and power consumption of the LED fluorescent lamp is only 20% compared with a fluorescent lamp using a fluorescent material. Also, the LED fluorescent lamp has merits that a lifetime of the LED fluorescent lamp may be prolonged up to ten-years and the LED fluorescent lamp may reduce environmental problems because the LED fluorescent lamp does not use a heavy metal such as lead or mercury.
An LED using a characteristic of a light-emitting semiconductor is mainly used in a liquid crystal display device of a cellular phone, an electric signboard, a dashboard of a car and so on. In the future, the LED will be used as an indoor lamp of a car, a signboard, a backlight unit of a liquid crystal display device and a general lighting, etc.
As an example of an LED lamp used in a general lighting and so on is disclosed in Korean Utility Model Registration NO. 294471. The above disclosed light-emitting diode (LED) lamp includes a circuit board connecting a plurality of light-emitting diodes, a control unit and a power unit, and the circuit board is inserted in a glass tube.
However, in this structure, a position of the circuit board on which the light-emitting diodes are established may be changed by external impacts, and thus a direction of light illumination may be changed. In addition, physical damage due to user's maltreatment may be serious because a material protecting the circuit board is a glass as the conventional fluorescent lamp.
Referring to a diagram attached in the disclosed utility, a fixing ring is used for fixing the light-emitting diode. When the fixing ring is manufactured with a metal material, the light- emitting diode may be detached from the fixing ring and destroyed because the metal is expanded according to a heat generated from the light-emitting diode and metal elasticity is decreased as the LED lamp is used for a long time. When the fixing ring is manufactured with a plastic, the fixing ring may be easily broken even by a small impact in comparison with the metal.
As another example, Korean Patent Laid-open Publication No.
10-2004-0081848 is related to a light-emitting diode lamp traffic light including a circuit board on which a plurality of light emitting diodes are established, a fixed direction maintenance member for light refraction, a rear case, a power supply device and a fixing member.
However, in the structure of the invention described above, the fixed direction maintenance member, the circuit board and the rear case are sequentially fixed by a bolt, and thus the light emitting diode lamp traffic light has poor durability because such fixing is unstable due to a possibility of bolt looseness and water may penetrate into the traffic light. Here, the floodlight cap 100 may be formed with half circle type, one-third circle type, one-fourth circle type and so on in order to form a cylinder type structure in combination to the frame 200. The frame 200 may be formed with half circle type, two-third circle type, three-fourth circle type and so on depending on the type of the floodlight cap 100, thereby selectively increasing an amount of penetrated light or a solidity of the LED fluorescent lamp.
The floodlight cap 100 is formed with a floodlight lens 101 of a convex lens type to uniformly diffuse light, and a fluorescent material 102 for converting a blue light or an ultraviolet light from the LEDs into a white light is coated on the surface of the floodlight lens 101. A material of the floodlight lens 101 may be plastic in consideration of a security of a user. Additionally, the floodlight cap 100 includes protrusion portions 103 formed along both lateral ends of the floodlight cap 100 for combining the floodlight cap 100 with the frame 200. Such combining means will be described in detail with the description of the frame 200.
For example, the frame 200 may be formed with a material such as a light aluminum alloy having a high thermal conductivity so as to promptly emit out a heat generated in the LED fluorescent lamp according to the present invention.

A partition 203 is formed between inside surfaces of the frame 200 along a longitudinal direction and ribs 204 with a predetermined interval are formed on a bottom surface of the partition 203 such that insertion grooves 202 are formed between the partition 203 and the ribs 204. Left and right lateral ends of the LED circuit board 300 are combined with and detached from the insertion grooves 202 with sliding method. Intervals and widths of the protrusion portions 103, the fixing grooves 201 and the insertion grooves 202 may be adjusted for convenience of checking a problem, repairing and recycling the LED fluorescent lamp when the problem occurs in the LED fluorescent lamp. The frame 200 may be manufactured with injection molding method.
FIG. 4 is a detailed diagram illustrating an LED circuit board in an LED fluorescent lamp according to the present invention. As illustrated in FIG. 4, the LED circuit board 300 includes a plurality of
LEDs 301 and a plurality of pin holes 302, and thus the LED circuit board 300 having a structure that each LED 301 is inserted into or detached from each pin hole 302. Through this structure, when a specific LED has a problem, only the specific LED may be replaced with a new LED, thereby enhancing cost efficiency.
The LED 301 is a semiconductor device capable of generating a high intensity of illumination with a low power. For example, in a medical field or a semiconductor field, UV LED (Ultraviolet Light Emitting Diode) may be used according to a specific purpose. Also, an insulation pad 303 may be further included between the LED circuit board 300 and the frame 200 to perfectly insulate an electrical connection (short circuit) between the LED circuit board 300 and the frame 200.
Referring again to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, connection terminals CT fix left and right ends of the floodlight cap 100 and the frame 200, and the connection terminals CT are connected to a driving circuit board 400 to supply power. The connection terminals CT may have a structure corresponding to a conventional fluorescent lamp socket for compatibility with the conventional fluorescent lamp socket. The driving circuit board 400 surrounded by an insulation tube 401 is established at inner space between the insulation pad 303 and the frame 200, and the driving circuit board 400 is connected with the LED circuit board to control the LED circuit board 300.
The reflection board 500 reflects light emitted from the LED 301 so that the reflected light may be in a direction toward the floodlight cap 100, The reflection board 500 is established on a lower surface of the LED circuit board 300.
In some embodiments, the LED fluorescent lamp according to the present invention may be a DC LED fluorescent lamp including an AC-DC converter in the connection terminal CT, using a DC LED as the LED 301, and using a DC driving circuit board as the driving circuit board 400 for decreasing eyestrain of a user. In some embodiments, the LED fluorescent lamp according to the present invention may be the AC LED fluorescent lamp capable of decreasing power and cost consumption by using an AC LED and an AC driving circuit board and excluding the AC-DC converter.
[Industrial Applicability] An LED fluorescent lamp according to the present invention is structured to minimize physical injury of a user using a floodlight cap of a plastic material in comparison with a conventional fluorescent lamp of a glass material, and may uniformly diffuse light.
Also, an LED fluorescent lamp of the present invention may decrease eyestrain when the LED fluorescent lamp is implemented as a DC LED fluorescent lamp including an AC-DC converter, and may decrease cost and power consumption when the LED fluorescent lamp is implemented as an AC LED fluorescent lamp excluding an AC-DC converter.
Also, an LED fluorescent lamp of the present invention has a merit that the LED fluorescent lamp may be conveniently repaired and recycled when the LED fluorescent lamp has a problem, because a floodlight cap and a frame may be attached to and detached from each other, each LED may be mounted on and removed from an LED circuit board, and also the LED circuit board may be attached to and detached from the frame.
