Abstract
A stop-off point information providing apparatus comprises deviated route-related information holding means for holding deviated route-related information including starting point information and destination information and stop-off point information request receiving means for acquiring location information on a requester from a requester apparatus and receiving a request to provide stop-off point information. When the stop-off point information request receiving means receives the stop-off point information request, deviated route-related information acquiring means acquires deviated route-related information including the starting point information that matches the requester location information, stop-off point information generation means generates the stop-off point information by using the deviated route-related information. Stop-off point information providing means provides the stop-off point information to the requester apparatus via a predetermined network or the like.
