Abstract

A fluid supply apparatus for a vehicle, including: a pump (46) that sucks up a working fluid from a reservoir (52) and discharges the working fluid under a pressure corresponding to a revolution speed of a motor; and a supply passage (40) that introduces the working fluid in the motor (12) or a speed reducer (14) coupled to the motor (12) and has a lubricating flow channel (44) that introduces a working fluid in the speed reducer (14) for lubrication and a plurality of cooling flow channels (56, 58) that introduce a working fluid in the motor (12) for cooling, the lubricating flow channel (44) and the cooling flow channels (56, 58) being branched off each other downstream of the pump (46), the fluid supply apparatus further including a relief valve (60) in at least one of the plurality of cooling flow channels (56, 58) for changing the flow channel surface area of the supply passage (54) according to the revolution speed of the motor.
