Abstract

In an iterative operation apparatus and method for a regular graph, a current group is defined in a specific direction in a 3-dimensional graph in which a hidden variable cost and a feature cost are stacked for an iterative operation on input data, and an operation initialization is performed by setting the number of iterations. Then, the iterative operation is sequentially performed on the hidden variable cost and the feature cost for each node in the current group up to the set number of iterations. Thereafter, a hidden state of the current group is estimated when the iterative operation for each node in the current group is completed. Then, the operation initialization, the iterative operation, and estimation of the hidden state are performed iteratively up to a position of a final current group.
