Abstract

Present embodiments provide an ice maker. The ice maker includes a tray assembly, an ice bank, and a manipulating unit. The tray assembly includes a plurality of ice trays for making ice that are disposed horizontally side-by-side. The ice bank stores ice made in each of the ice trays. The manipulating unit separates the ice made in each of the ice trays.
