Abstract

Provided are a battery pack, which can prevent, even in case a battery has become abnormal to a thermorunaway to generate heat, the battery pack itself or the batteries in the battery pack other than that abnormal one from becoming hot, and a battery-mounting device. A heat-absorbing member (4) is arranged in a battery pack (1) and in the space between a casing (2) and batteries (3). The heat-absorbing member (4) absorbs the heat generated by any thermorunaway battery (3), if any, thereby to prevent the remaining batteries (3) from further going thermorunaway.
