Abstract

The present invention relates to a wind turbine comprising at least two wings or vanes (2, 2e), and support frame means (3, 3a, 3b, 4) mounted for rotation about an axis of rotation (x-x) and designed to keep the at least two vanes (2, 2e) angularly spaced from one another about the axis of rotation (x-x), each vane (2, 2e) comprising a substantially flat surface (2a, 2f) extending in the same plane as the axis of rotation (x-x), a convex surface (2b, 2g) extending opposite to the flat surface (2a, 2f), and at least one wing edge (2c) between each flat surface (2a, 2f) and its respective convex surface (2b, 2g), any convex surface (2b, 2g) facing in the same direction of rotation about said axis (x-x).
