Abstract

On a top plate (10) constituting a table, a communication waveguide sheet (1) which functions as the antenna of a wireless LAN system is disposed. The upper surface of the communication waveguide sheet (1) makes a communication surface which is capable of carrying out wireless transmission and reception with a personal computer. A relay waveguide (9) having a small area touches end faces of the communication waveguide sheet (1). A hole (12a) is bored in a portion overlapping the relay waveguide (9) in the top plate (10) to make a communication connector (7) touch the lower surface of the relay waveguide (9) through the hole (12a). The lower surface of the relay waveguide (9) makes a communication surface. The communication connector (7) is not exposed on the upper surface of the table, so that the communication connector (7) never becomes a hindrance to a person and never comes off accidentally.
