Abstract

A focusing measurement device comprises an image input section for acquiring captured images, a filter section for generating blurring images by using a pair of filters having different frequency characteristics to the images, an extraction section for extracting first and second respective feature amounts from the images and their respective blurring images in a specific point of the images, and a focusing measurement section for calculating a focusing amount indicating the degree of being in focus from the first and second feature amounts and measuring the focusing level in the specific point of the images.
