Abstract

After the formation of lubricant film (33), wiping treatment is carried out on the surface of the lubricant film (33). By this wiping treatment, any particles adhering to the surface of the lubricant film (33) are entwined away. Any obstacles such as bosses generated on the lubricant film (33) are removed by vanishing treatment subsequent to the wiping treatment. Thus, the flaw generation on the surface of the storage medium (14) can be satisfactorily suppressed. In this process, the floating performance and error performance of head slider are enhanced over those exhibited in the conventional production processes.
