Abstract
In order to refine devices for measuring heart rate variability, the invention proposes a device for measuring heart rate variability using a pulse sensor, an evaluation unit, and a result and/or stimulation signal output (127), which are disposed in a device housing (101), the pulse sensor being disposed in a housing cover. The pulse sensor can be used to measure the pulse especially via the palm of the hand. Preferably, the device has a spherical device housing. The housing surface can be translucent.
