Abstract

An imaging lens unit (1) comprising a resinous lens barrel (30) and two or more resinous lenses (10, 20). The lens barrel (30) includes a cylindrical portion (31) having an inner surface (31a) parallel to an optical axis (L), an end wall (32) at the object-side end of the cylindrical portion (31), and a first inclined surface (33) formed along an opening (32a) inside the end wall (32). The first lens (10) includes a first edge (12) formed outside a first lens portion (11) and having an outer surface (15) from which to the inner surface (31a) of the cylindrical portion (31) a clearance (50) is provided, a second inclined surface (14) formed on the object-side surface of the first edge (12) and positioning the first lens (10) with respect to the lens barrel (30) by being brought into contact with the first inclined surface (33), and a first connection portion (16) formed on the side facing the second lens (20) of the first edge (12) and connected to the second lens (20). The second lens (20) includes a second edge (22) formed outside a second lens portion (21) and having an outer surface (25) from which to the inner surface (31a) of the cylindrical portion (31) the clearance (50) is provided, and a second connection portion (24) formed on the side facing the first lens (10) of the second edge (22) and positioning the second lens (20) with respect to the first lens(10) by being connected to the first connection portion (16).
