Abstract

A light diffusion sheet on which a clear moire-free image can be obtained with a wide view angle while sustaining high light transparency. The light diffusion sheet (10) is composed of a woven fabric formed by interweaving the warps (12) and the wefts (11). The light woven sheet has a woven texture structure using an optically transparent first fiber having circular or pseudo-circular cross-section as the weft (11) and a second fiber as the warp (12). The wefts (11) are arranged tightly in parallel without being bent. The light diffusion sheet (10) is arranged such that the fiber axis direction of the weft extends along the vertical or horizontal direction of the display surface of a video device. Alternatively, two sheets are laminated such that the fiber axis direction of the weft extends along the vertical or horizontal direction of the display surface of a video device.
