Abstract

The design involves a spacer ring, consisting of the halved annulus (1), which has been provided all over its circumference with the through-going blade profile (2).

Description

Spacer Ring
Technical field
The invention applies to the spacer ring for turbine wheels in power stations, which replaces the composed stator distribution wheel assembled from separate parts.
Background arts
Until now the spacer blades have been produced for each blade separately and mounted in a single unit. This sectional composition system suffered from a considerable drawback consisting in that the assembly was not accurate, the volume of the agent flow was not steady, the assembly was distinguished by a great labouriousness, the manufacture required special machinery to produce individual parts and, last but not least, the production costs were high so that the resulting price of the equipment was rather expensive.
Disclosure of Invention
The above drawbacks are eliminated by the spacer ring according to this invention with the following substance: it consists of the halved annulus, provided all over its circumference with the trough-going blade profile.
The spacer ring designed according to this invention makes it possible to assemble the spacer ring with a high accuracy of the agent flow, without any possibility of the flow fluctuation. Labouriousness required to compose the whole ring during assembly has been several times reduced, resulting in the many times reduced assembly costs.
Brief Description of Drawing
The invention will be clarified more in detail by means of the drawing which illustrates Fig. 1 : Front view of spacer ring consisting of two parts and Fig. 2: Cross section of spacer ring.
Made for Carrying out the Invention
The spacer ring according to Fig. 1 consists of the halved annulus 1, provided all over its circumference with the trough-going blade profile 2.
Industrial Applicability
The spacer ring designed according to the invention is designated for steam power turbines but can be used for any driving agents, where a high accuracy of dosing of the agent is required.
