Abstract

An applicating machine for applying a flexible carrier (10) to a plurality of containers (50) provided from an infeed includes a jaw assembly (140) that reciprocates to apply a generally continuous string of carrier stock (115) onto a quantity of containers (50). A carrier unwinder (150) is integrated with the applicating machine to provide the generally continuous string of carrier stock (115) for packaging desired sets of containers (50).
