Abstract

　中継装置（ルータ）のＮＡＴ特性を最適に判断することができる通信装置を提供する。 　通信装置１００において、通信制御部２０３は、サーバ１０４のいずれかのＩＰアドレス及びポート番号を宛先アドレスとする、ＮＡＴ調査要求パケットを生成する。ＮＡＴ調査要求送信部２０４は、ＮＡＴ調査要求パケットをサーバに送信する。ＮＡＴ調査応答受信部２０２は、ＮＡＴ調査応答パケットの返送として、サーバが受信したＮＡＴ調査要求パケットの送信元ＩＰアドレス及び送信元ポート番号が含まれるＮＡＴ調査応答パケットを受信する。中継特性判断部２０１は、ＮＡＴ調査応答パケットに含まれる、ＮＡＴ調査要求パケットの送信元ＩＰアドレス及び送信元ポート番号に基づいて、中継装置のＮＡＴ特性の種類を判断する。
