Abstract
A method and assembly for storing town or mains water in an upper level tray and heating this water with solar radiation is disclosed. At a predetermined time this water is delivered into a storage reservoir. The reservoir can deliver hot water on demand to either an existing hot water unit or to hot water consuming appliances in the building.
