Abstract

An optical disc has a spiral or coaxial information track. The information track of the optical disc has a wobble region formed to correspond to a modulation signal of predetermined data. Wavefront aberration change means demodulates predetermined data from the wobble signal contained in the reflected light from the wobble by adding to a beam, a wavefront aberration different from a wavefront aberration given to the beam when reproducing the information recorded on the information track so as to reduce a interference component from the track adjacent to the information track contained in the wobble signal.
