Abstract

A hand dryer includes a body case (1) having a rear case (1A) and a front case (1B). In the body case (1) are arranged a nozzle (2), a fan motor (3), a heating section (4), and an air inlet opening (5) for air to be sent to the fan motor (3). The fan motor (3) is supported with its inlet opening (3A) faced to a fan motor support case (6) fixed to the rear case (1A). Further, the fan motor (3) is surrounded by a fan motor front case (7) and the fan motor support case (6). An air inlet path for interconnecting the inlet opening (3A) and the air inlet opening (5) is formed between the rear case (1A) and the fan motor support case (6) to reduce noise.
