Abstract

A display device including display panels, a driving method of the same, and an electronic paper including the same. Particularly a display device whose power consumption can be lowered by reducing an inrush current generated in a driving circuit when display panels are driven, a driving method of the same, and an electronic paper including the same. A liquid crystal display device (1) performs control such that the application start time of the driving voltage to be applied to a B-liquid crystal display panel (one display panel) (6b) and the application start times of the driving voltages applied to G- and R-liquid crystal display panels (other display panels) (6g, 6r) are staggered.
