Description

FOLDABLE TABLE MECHANISM
Technical Field
The invention is related to the tables of which the working surface is foldable, used for common objectives in places such as house, workplace, restaurant and hotel.
The invention specifically relates to a foldable table mechanism being used in places such as meeting rooms in workplaces, restaurants, houses and etc., performing the closure of the tables having top plate and pillars practically, provided to cover little place by folding when not used, easily stored and kept and practically conveyable.
Background Art
Currently, there are a number of table configurations having foldable structure.
In the present implementations, many kinds of table have been developed specifically for house needs due to such reasons like easy usage, place covering problems and being conveyed as a result of the heaviness. Foldable tables have been developed for usage in houses and other places for example easy usage in many places such as workplaces, restaurants and meeting rooms in workplaces, and for specifically making them cover little place. The places which need the area that the table covers most are houses.
Today, there are tables as a classical technical implementation used as foldable tables and enabling to cover little place for usage. No difference is seen in the present implementations between the working mechanisms and implementation techniques of foldable tables. Although they meet the need for place as usage area in the place, they bring disadvantages in several ways. In another table mechanism, the table plate is made up of a single part and/or surface; however, it is laid towards sideways by means of de-fixing the mounting elements formed at the bottom surface and therefore the table is provided to be folded.
In the background art, two opposite person should pull the top plates and then the part hidden at the bottom should be opened by one person so as to open the tables; which results in difficulty in usage, and also the area where the table is present cannot be used effectively.
In the background art, a big closed box starting from the top plate to the ground is required so as to hide the modules (foldable plates) positioned under the top plate used for enlarging the tables used. This box results in the table's being heavy ad bring out difficulty in usage and heaviness as it covers a particular place under the table.
In the background art, transportation problems occur in the tables used and wanted to be taken from one place to another. Tables both cover a big place and they cost very much for they cannot be folded absolutely when conveyed.
In the background art, the endurance is poor as a result of the fact that the mechanisms used for folding the tables do not completely meet the heaviness of the tables.
In the background art, the mechanisms used for folding the tables give damage to the plate of the table.
In the background art, the mechanisms of the tables used get broken in a very short time, which results in extra costs, workforce expenditure and loss of time.
In the background art, in the cases of unnecessary constraining of the tables used, deforming rate is more due to the reasons of turn buckling, buckling and wedging.
In the background art, the endurance is less for the abrasions occurring in the tables used. It is known that several implementations are currently present about the foldable tables.
One of these implementations is related to a table pillar mechanism folded by moving on a slide in documentation no 2006/03847. According to this implementation, the invention is related to the pillar parts of the foldable tables. The pillars mounted to the moveable top part moving planar at the inner part of the slide part fixed as tight integrating to the bottom part of the table plate is centred with the moveable bottom part. These pillars are assembled by adducting to each other and made planar; when force is applied in such way, the moveable top part moves planar in the slide and fixes right in the bottom part of the table plate by sliding downwards. The system is related to being composed of a table plate, bottom part with slide movement, pillars and moveable top part.
Another implementation is related to a dining table with seat group with foldable joint in the documentation no 1998/01059. According to this implementation, it is related to a dining table with foldable seat group produced from materials such as steel profile, PVC, and etc., whose joint (hinge) sequence of the dining table, table pillars and seat group (bench) is formed on the table pillar, the joint middle lug of which the joint right and left lugs are formed on the seat group (bench) pillar and which is composed of joint shaft.
Consequently, the mechanisms in the tables have been undergoing developments; therefore, new configurations are required to eliminate the abovementioned disadvantages and bring solutions to the present systems.
