Abstract

Disclosed are: a transdermally absorbable preparation which has excellent transdermal absorbability and low irritation to the skin, and which contains insulin that is highly safe and highly usable; and a transdermally absorbable system which comprises the preparation. Specifically disclosed are: a transdermally absorbable preparation characterized by comprising an aqueous insulin aspart solution having a pH value ranging from 7 to 8; a transdermally absorbable system characterized by pre-treating the skin with an enzyme and then applying the transdermally absorbable preparation to the skin; and a transdermally absorbable system characterized by pre-treating the skin with an enzyme, treating the skin with a substance capable of inactivating the enzyme, and then applying the transdermally absorbable preparation to the skin.
