Abstract

 組み込む際に煩雑な作業を必要とすることなく、組み込まれる装置に応じて自由な設計を可能としつつ、高度の角度検出精度を確保すること。回転可能に設けられた円環形状を有する磁石(2)と、磁石(2)の外周近傍における周方向の単一箇所に配設され、磁石(2)の径方向の磁場強度を検出すると共に、磁石(2)の径方向の磁場と直交する回転角方向の磁場の強度を検出するホール素子(3)と、ホール素子(3)により検出された上記径方向及び回転角方向の磁場強度に応じた信号を規格化する規格化部(31)と、規格化された信号に基づいて磁石(2)の回転角度を算出する演算部(32)とを具備することを特徴とする。
