Abstract

[PROBLEMS] To drive a movable section by using a magnet and a coil and to accurately detect the moving position of the movable section by using a magnetic detecting section facing the magnet. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A movable section is provided with a magnet (21), and a fixed section is provided with a coil (22) and a magnetic detecting section (23). The magnetic detecting section (23) is arranged on the side of the coil (22) at a position not overlapping with the magnet (21) in the vertical direction. The magnet (21) is moved in a Y direction by a magnetic flux generated from a facing surface (21a) of the magnet (21) and a current flowing in the coil (22). The magnetic detecting section (23) detects magnetic field components within an X-Y flat surface, and the moving position of the magnet (21) is detected by the detection output. Furthermore, since the magnetic detecting section (23) does not react to the components of the magnetic field in an X-Z surface, detection output from the magnetic detecting section (23) is not affected by a magnetic field formed by the current flowing in the coil (22).
