Abstract

A bottle cap (1) has a lid section (11) having a screw thread section (112), a tubular receiving section (12) inserted in a mouth (21) of a bottle (2) and having one end fixed to the lid section (11). The bottle cap (1) also has an outer tube section (13) inserted in the mouth (21) of the bottle (2), having the receiving section (12) inserted in the outer tube section (13), having one end from which the other end of the receiving section (12) projects, and having the other end on which a screw thread section (131) is formed. The screw thread section (112) engages with the screw thread section (131). The receiving section (12) has a tubular receiving body (121) having one end fixed to the lid section, having the other end that is open, and receiving a material in the receiving body (121). The receiving section (12) also has a bottom lid section (122) removably fitted in an opening of the receiving body (121) to face the one end of an outer tube section (13). Either or both of the screw thread section (112) of the lid section (11) and the screw thread section (131) of the outer tube section (13) contain a silicone resin.
