Abstract

　検索キー画像から特徴量を抽出する特徴量抽出部１０６と、検索対象の画像の特徴量と検索キー画像の特徴量との距離を算出する距離算出部１０７と、距離算出部１０７で算出された距離を解析して、検索キー画像に類似した特徴を与える特徴量を画像検索に有効な特徴量として選別する距離解析部１０８と、画像検索に有効な特徴量の主成分分析結果を座標軸に設定した特徴量空間に検索対象の画像を配置し、この特徴量空間内から検索キー画像に類似する画像を検索する検索実行部１０９とを備える。
