Abstract
According to the invention, the entire optical element (2) is lowered during the journey or transport of the vehicle. The lowering of the optical element is carried out by means of at least three spindles (3) or at least one spindle and three guide elements. Said optical element (2) is secured to a plate (4) that can be lowered into a transport position along the guides and then lifted again into the working position. The plate (4) can be blocked in both positions. Pins can also be used for blocking and also for centering the plate (4) in both end positions.
Description
B E S C H R E I B U N G DESCRIPTION
Absenkbare Optikaufnahme insbesondere für ein mit einer Waffe ausgerüstetes KampffahrzeugLowerable optical mount, especially for a combat vehicle equipped with a weapon
A viewing device for combat vehicles describes the DE 36 32 923 A1. A functional, wear and retrofit-oriented breakdown into individual components with standardized interfaces is proposed. Such optics are usually mounted on the weapon-carrying tower of the vehicle in close proximity to the weapon. The negative is that when driving in rough terrain, the optics is exposed to the back whipping branches, for example. Even when transporting the vehicle, the outstanding appearance is sometimes disturbing.
Here, the invention takes on the task to show a way how the optics can be protected while driving or transport.
The object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are shown in the subclaims.
Es zeigt:The invention is based on the idea to lower the entire look while driving or vehicle transport. The prerequisite for this is that the optics are mechanically decoupled from the weapon carrier or the weapon. For the lowering of the decoupled optical recording at least three spindles or a spindle and at least three guides are provided. The optics are mounted on a plate, which can be lowered along the guides in a so-called transport position and then raised back to the working position. The plate can be locked in both positions. Pins can be used in addition to the lock for centering the plate in the two end positions. Reference to an embodiment with drawing, the invention will be explained in more detail. It shows:
Fig. 1 eine Teilturmansicht mit ausgefahrener Optik,1 is a Teilturmansicht with extended optics,
Fig. 2 eine Auszugsdarstellung der wichtigsten Bauteile für das Absenken der Optik aus Fig.1 ,FIG. 2 shows an extract representation of the most important components for lowering the optics from FIG. 1, FIG.
Fig.3 die Teilturmansicht aus Fig. 1 mit abgesenkter Optik.3 shows the Teilturmansicht of FIG. 1 with lowered optics.
Fig. 1 shows in a partial view of a tower 1 for receiving a weapons system (not shown in detail) of a likewise unspecified dargstellten vehicle with extended optics 2 (here a panoramic look). With 1.1 a protective cell for an operation is marked on the front side wall of the weapon carrier or the weapon is installed. The optics 2, is connected with the weapon system and serves to target a target. The optics 2 is mechanically separated from the weapon system, in particular the weapon barrel of the weapon system and designed lowerable in housing 6. For this purpose, the tower 1 a lowering and lifting device 10 in the housing 6, consisting of preferably a plate 4 and three spindles 3, which are functionally connected to each other (Fig. 2). Along these three spindles 3, the plate 4 can be lowered or raised. In a simplest variant, a hand crank 5 is provided for this purpose. However, a motor solution is also conceivable. The hand crank 5 is in turn removable.
Zu vermeiden ist dabei jedoch ein Verkanten der verfahrbaren Platte 4.Alternatively, instead of the three spindles 3 as lifting and lowering device 10 and three guides may be provided, wherein on a guide then a spindle 3 should be present in order to make an adjustment can. However, a tilting of the movable plate 4 is to be avoided.
The optics 2 is rigidly mounted on the plate 4 and pinned in the uppermost position with the housing 6 and screwed. To lower (Fig. 3) screwed pins not shown wipe plate 4 and the housing 6 on the tower 1 are removed. If the optical system 2 is to be lifted again, this is also done by means of the at least one spindle 3. In the functional position, the pins are then re-engaged between plate 4 and lens 2. Alternative fastenings such as clamps etc. are also possible.
Vehicles in the sense of the invention may be land vehicles, such as wheeled and tracked vehicles.
