Abstract

 電子機器等において複数のファンを使用する場合に、相互のファンの回転誤差から生じる「うなり音」を抑制するために、それぞれのファンに回転数をフィードバックして同じ又は特定の関係の回転数になるように制御するための技術に関し、簡単な回路構成で安定かつ高精度な複数ファンの回転数制御を実現することにある。制御ファン回転数制御回路606(#i)は、基準ファン601と制御ファン602(#i)に対応する各回転数信号613、614の比較に基づいて、まず、制御ファン602(#i)に供給する制御ファンPWM信号615(#i)を制御することにより、各ファン601と602(#i)の回転数が大まかに一致するようにし、更に、PWM制御以上の回転数の一致制御を、制御ファン602(#i)に供給する制御ファン電源信号616(#i)を制御して行う。
