Abstract
Provided is a storage type hot water supply device, which can retain the quantity of residual hot water desired by the user, reliably at the end of an additional boiling operation even if much hot water is used in the additional boiling operation, and which enables the user to recognize either the additional boiling operation or the set additional boiling quantity intuitively. In order to start the additional boiling operation, the storage type hot water supply device (1) starts the operation by designating such one of temperature sensors (T1 to T5) as is positioned on the side of a larger hot water quantity than the current residual hot water quantity, and continues the additional boiling operation till the designated one of the temperature sensors (T1 to T5) detects a predetermined temperature level or higher. A residual hot water quantity indicating unit (50) indicates not only the residual hot water quantity but also the increase in the hot water of the additional boiling operation by the flash of LEDs (51 to 55).
