Abstract

 神経毒素に対する中和抗体の力価の定量方法を開示する。(a)一定量の神経毒素を含む標準試料と当該神経毒素に対する中和抗体を含有する被験試料を混合し、(b)(a)の混合物を非ヒト哺乳動物の筋肉に投与し、(c)当該非ヒト哺乳動物に電気刺激をかけ、(d)電気刺激による当該哺乳動物の筋肉収縮に伴う複合筋活動電位(CMAP)を筋電計で測定し、ついで(e)操作ステップ(d)で測定して得られたCMAP振幅データから、未中和の神経毒素による振幅の低下の程度を解析することにより被験試料中に含有される中和抗体の力価を定量化することから構成されることを特徴とする神経毒素に対する中和抗体の力価の定量方法。
