Abstract

A method and a device for deburring the screw joint of a pipe while suppressing generation of spark or scattering of dust. A deburring device (100) according to the present invention is one for removing burr from a screw joint (PJ) formed in a pipe (P), and includes a rotary grinding body (10) for grinding the screw joint (PJ) by pressing it against the screw joint (PJ) while rotating, and liquid supply means (20) for supplying liquid (L) at least to the contact portion (C) between the rotary grinding body (10) and the screw joint (PJ). The rotary grinding body (10) is formed by bonding a plurality of polishing layers (11) each having a substantially circular outer circumferential edge while laminating them through adhesive resin. The polishing layer (11) is formed by winding spirally an elongated sheetlike base material (111) on the surface of which a polishing material is applied and then bonding the base material with adhesive resin. The liquid supply means (20) recovers and filtrates the supplied liquid (L) and supplies again the filtrated liquid (L) at least to the contact portion (C).
