Abstract
A plurality of liquids are allowed to flow into an amplification section from a mixed liquid flow path and mixed, and a reaction is amplified by heating in the amplification section to obtain a product liquid, and then a target substance in the product liquid is detected in the amplification section. Accordingly, a plurality of liquids can be efficiently mixed to react with one another and a target substance can be detected from the resulting product liquid. Further, because heating is performed after the liquid is sent such that the interface between the mixed liquid and air reaches a tip end liquid reservoir section with a small cross-sectional area, evaporation or deterioration of the product liquid due to heating is less, and a test microchip and a test device suitable for size reduction or cost reduction can be provided.
