Abstract
The invention relates to a portable power supply unit (100) for consumers, in particular in the automotive and the leisure sectors. Said power supply unit comprises a stationary housing (1), a power source that is accommodated in the housing (1) and connection cables for the power that comes from the power source and means for connecting to the consumer on the free end thereof. A flue-type passage (6, 6A, 6B) for convection guiding cool air, said outlet having a lateral inlet (7;7A, 7B) in the lower region of the housing (1) and an outlet (29; 29B) in the upper region of the housing (1), is provided in order to allow the power source to be cooled as necessary with no or fewer negative effects.
