Abstract

 複数のRAT(Radio Access Technology)が混在する移動体通信システムにおいてRAT情報の通知のための制御チャネルを不要にして制御チャネル容量の逼迫または不足を防ぐことができる移動体通信システム。この移動体通信システムにおいて、LTE中継局(30)は、WLANホスト局(20)が有するカバーエリア(21)と同一のカバーエリア(31)を有し、LTE基地局(10)から受信した信号をこのカバーエリア(31)において移動局(40)へ中継送信する。LTE中継局(30)は、LTE基地局(10)から受信された信号に周波数オフセット、時間オフセット、または、電力オフセットのいずれかのオフセットを、自局からの中継信号を受信する移動局(40)がWLANのカバーエリア(21)に位置することを示すための情報として付加し、オフセットの付加後の信号をカバーエリア(31)(すなわちカバーエリア(21))に位置する移動局(40)へ送信する。
