Abstract
A wireless communication device that can minimize deterioration in error rate characteristics due to puncturing in using the LDPC code as an error correction code. On the wireless communication device, an LDPC coding section (101) uses an inspection matrix to perform the LDPC coding for transmitted bit streams, and gets the LDPC coding words consisting of systematic bits and parity bits. Also, the LDPC coding section (101) outputs the inspection matrix to an allocation section (104). In turn, the allocation section (104) allocates data symbols corresponding to lower-reliability bits among a plurality of bits respectively corresponding to a plurality of variable nodes connected via a check node in connection with a variable node that is punctured in a tanner graph compatible with the inspection matrix input from the LDPC coding section (101) to a resource block corresponding to a higher-ranked CQI.
