Abstract

 加入者側装置および局側装置で使用されている上り光信号および下り光信号の波長を変更することなく、両装置間の延伸化を可能とするポイント-マルチポイント光通信システムを得る。1台の局側装置1と複数n台の加入者側装置4とを接続する光ネットワークを基本構成として、m個の基本構成に対して1台の局側波長合分波器22、1本の光ファイバ伝送路30、および1台の加入者側波長合分波器12による共有化を図ったポイント-マルチポイント光通信システムであって、1台の波長合分波器22、12とm個の波長変換装置21、11で構成される局側中継部20および加入者側中継部10を備え、局側装置1と局側中継部20との間および加入者側装置4と加入者側中継部10との間は、現状の波長の光信号を使用し、光ファイバ伝送路30を介した波長合分波器12、22間は、延伸化可能な波長多重光信号を使用する。
