Abstract

El dispositivo se asocia al anillo protésico convencional que está unido permanentemente al anillo natural de la válvula mitral, y comprende dos piezas acopladas entre si en forma deslizante que forman un conjunto posicionador, una pieza tiene una configuración esencialmente en T para su fijación temporal al anillo protésico durante la operación quirúrgica y está provista de un asidero que sobresale de la pieza por la cara exterior opuesta al anillo protésico, y la otra pieza tiene una configuración en arco de circulo con una curvatura en correspondencia con la abertura de la válvula mitral y está provista de un paso en la zona media del arco en el que está ensartada el alma de la pieza en T para deslizar la pieza en arco con respecto a la pieza en T y fijarla temporalmente sobre uno de los bordes de la válvula mitral para efectuar su reparación.
