Abstract

The invention relates to a device and to a method for changing a substance of a gaseous or liquid phase into a liquid and/or solid or gaseous and/or solid phase. The phase change takes place in a volume that is surrounded by a housing (1) on two coaxial cover layers (2.1, 2.2) of a rotationally symmetrical body (2) that is rigidly connected to the housing (1), said cover layers can be heated or cooled, are embodied as rotational surfaces and are arranged on the same section of the axis. Both of the cover layers (2.1, 2.2) are brushed and humidified and/or cleaned by elements such as brush strips (4), wipers, scrapers, scoops or/and sprayers that are secured to a rotor (3) that is rotationally maintained about the axis (12) of the cover layers.
