Abstract

La présente invention concerne un mécanisme amélioré qui permet d'envoyer des paquets de petite taille dans un réseau entre homologues ad hoc. Un paquet de petite taille est identifié par rapport à un récepteur dans un canal de commande de sorte que sa puissance plus faible puisse être considérée dans un protocole de gestion des interférences mis en oeuvre parmi des dispositifs d'homologues locaux. Dans un intervalle de trafic, un émetteur revient volontairement à la puissance de l'émetteur lorsqu'un paquet de petite taille nécessite un rapport signal sur bruit bien plus faible. Ceci a pour effet d'améliorer la densité de puissance du bruit bit par bit de l'énergie du signal pour la transmission et de réduire également les interférences provoquées au niveau d'autres communications sans fil se produisant dans le même spectre.
