Description
DESCRIPTION
FRIDGES WITH MOVABLE GLASS OR FIXED GLASS
This invention is related to a fridge which has either a movable glass which moves up and down or a fixed glass with product taking hole and product loading hole instead of a door/cover on its front.
Fridges are generally produced by filling polyurethane material between their interior and exterior surface. Thus the fresh/cold air in the fridge is insulated from the exterior air.
The invention of fridges enables the storage and long lasting of foodstuffs and the development of new products in the food sector. The technology and design of the household and industrial fridges have been developed. For instance wine coolers, blood bank fridges, medicine fridges, meat fridges, industrial beverage fridges (display fridge, industrial fridges, wall-mounted fridges, air coolers for frozen food, etc.), deep freezers and industrial fridges like that are the results of this development process.
Currently there are industrial fridges which do not have a front cover/door so that the products (beverage bottles, beverage cans, and foodstuff) are easily taken from the fridge by reaching forth. Front faces of these fridges are constantly open and when they are not used (when the establishment is closed), a curtain (shutter) is placed onto the front face so that the cold air is preserved.
Because of the open front face, there is a great loss of cold air in the course of their usage. Thus in order to meet this loss, refrigerating units should be operated for a long time at a high performance. This situation leads to a high level of energy consumption and an adverse effect on the efficient usage of the fridge.
The objective of the present invention is to meet the cold air loss of the fridges with open front face thus to maintain the efficient usage of the refrigerating units.
Another objective of the present invention is to prevent the high level of energy consumption which is the result of operation of refrigerating units at a high performance because of the cold air loss.
So the subject of the present invention is a fridge with a movable glass which is able to move up and down or a fixed glass at the front face.
Drawings of the fridge with movable glass or fixed glass are present in the attachment and the descriptions of these drawings are given below:
Figure 1 is a perspective view showing that the products are loaded in the fridge and the fridge is in the product taking position.
Figure 2 is a left lateral view showing that the products are loaded in the fridge and the fridge is in the product taking position.
Figure 3 is a perspective view showing the product loading position of the fridge.
Figure 4 is a left lateral view showing the product loading position of the fridge.
Figure 5 is a perspective view showing that the fridge has only a fixed front glass.
Figure 6 is a perspective view showing that the front glass is fixed and there are product loading hole glass and product taking hole glass.
Figure 7 is a perspective view showing that the night curtain is drawn.
The parts in the drawings are enumerated and the definitions of these numbers are given below;
1- Fridge
2- Cooler division
3- Slope shelf 3.1-Seperator 4- Product transfer hole
5- Movable glass
6- Handle
7- Product taking hole
8- Product loading hole
9- Night curtain 10- Product
11- Fixed glass
12- Product loading hole glass 13- Product taking hole glass
14- Spring hinge
In the event that the fridge (1) has a movable glass (5), there is a product loading hole (8) at the top when the movable glass (5) is at the bottom; there is a product taking hole (7) at the bottom when the movable glass (5) is at the top. When the movable glass (5) is at the bottom, a night curtain (9) is used in order to cover the product taking hole (7) at the top.
In the event that the fridge (1) has a fixed glass (11), there is a fixed glass (11) at the front surface of the cooler division (2) instead of a movable glass (5). This fixed glass (11) has a product loading hole (8) at the top and a product taking hole (7) at the bottom. If the fixed glass (11) is used, at the top of the fixed glass (11) there is a product loading hole glass (12) which moves back and forth in its axis and at the bottom a product taking hole glass (13) which moves back and forth in its axis. Spring hinges (14) enable the product taking hole glass (13) and the product loading hole glass (12) to move back and forth.
Figure 1 is the representational application drawing of the fridge (1) which has a glass (5) that moves up and down at the front of the cooler division (2). Referring to Figure 1 , the fridge (1) consists of a body, refrigerating units, a shelf, movable or fixed stays and at least one glass (5) which is able to move up and down and at least one night curtain (9) at the front.
Movable glass (5) is designed in such a manner that it consists of a product loading hole (8) which ensures the products (10) that shall be cooled to be loaded into the cooler division (2) and a product taking hole (7) which enables the products (10) that are cooled to be taken from the cooler division (2). In other words, movable glass (5) is mounted onto a surface and moves up and down. When it is at the bottom, product loading hole (8) is formed at the top of the movable glass (5); when
it is at the top, product taKing noie {() is rormeα at me Doπom oτ me movaoie glass (5). Thus, in case the shelf system which operates according to the principle that the product (10) which is put into the fridge (1) (This fridge is subject to the utility model certificate nr: TR 2003/00273) first is taken out first is used, it is possible to store products (10) in the cooler division (2) and to take the cooled product (10) from the cooler division (2) thanks to the product loading hole (8) and product taking hole (7).
Fixing components provide the fixation of the movable glass (5) to the top so that the product taking hole (7) is formed at the bottom of the movable glass (5). Top and bottom movement of the movable glass (5) is made possible with the help of at least one handle (6) which is fixed on the movable glass (5) or formed on it.
Figure 5 shows the night curtain (9) fixed at the front face of the fridge (1) in such a manner that it covers the product loading hole (8) formed when the movable glass (5) is at the bottom. Thus, cold air loss which occurs because of the product loading hole (8) during cooled product (10) taking from the cooler division (2) is prevented.
Referring to Figure 6, it is possible to draw the night curtain (9) in such a manner that it covers the product taking hole (7) as well. If required, movable glass (5) is made of transparent material.
In case fixed glass (11) is used in the fridge (1), a fixed glass (11) is fixed to the front face of the cooler division (2) which is in an open position in Figure 2, a product loading hole glass (12) is fixed to the product loading hole (8) and a product taking hole glass (13) is fixed to the product taking hole (7). Mentioned fridge (1) is composed of other cooler equipment and parts.
Front face of the cooler division (2) of the fridge (1) is open and this open front face is closed by a fixed glass (11) which is placed between product loading hole (8) and product taking hole (7). Product loading hole glass (12) which moves back and forth in its axis is fixed to the product loading hole (8) with spring hinge (14), thus the product loading hole (8) is closed. In the same manner, product taking hole glass
(13) which moves back and forth in its axis is tixed to the product τaκιng noie {() with spring hinge (14), thus the product taking hole (7) is closed.
Thus, in case the shelf system which operates according to the principle that the product (10) which is put into the fridge (1) (This fridge is subject to the utility model certificate nr: TR 2003/00273) first is taken out first is used, product (10) is placed onto the top cross and slope shelf after pushing the product loading hole glass (12). After the product (10) is placed into the fridge (1), product loading hole glass (12) takes its previous position thanks to the spring hinge (14). Product taking hole glass (13) is pushed in order to take the product (10) which is placed at the bottom slope shelf. After the product (10) is taken out of the fridge (1), product taking hole glass (12) takes its previous position thanks to the spring hinge (14). In this way, both the cold air inside the fridge (1) is entirely preserved and the feature of taking the product (10) out of the (fridge) by reaching forth is preserved.
If required, the front face of the fridge (1) is covered by the night curtain (9) during the night and holidays.
If required, the cold air inside the fridge (1) is preserved by closing the open front face of the fridge (1) which is depicted in Figure 1 with a fixed glass (11) in such a manner that product loading hole (8) and product taking hole (7) are formed.
If required, it is possible to use regular hinge instead of spring hinge (14) used in the fixation of product loading hole glass (12) and product taking hole glass (13) if the front face of the mentioned cooler division (2) and the front face of the fridge (1) which has a open front face are designed in a vertical manner.
