Abstract

The invention relates to toilet facilities, to structural design for domestic and, for example, railway car WC bowls and to WC flushing cisterns thereof. Said invention makes it possible to enhance flushing efficiency of a portion of water having an increased pressure at the beginning of each flushing cycle. The inventive WC flushing cistern is based on the formation of an 'air dome' in a sealed cistern body, to which water is supplied from the bottom, from a water supply system or from a tank arranged above the car ceiling. In addition, in one of the variants, the flushing cistern is provided with two reservoirs, thereby making it possible to vary a flushing process, for example by using two manifolds in the bowl, and to save water by removing an overflow passage from the cistern.
