Abstract

A horn light duct device from which light beams exit in the same direction while maintaining the brightness of the exiting light beams and a daylighting device using such a light duct device are provided. A horn light duct device has a structure in which light ducts (11-1 to 11-4) are arranged. The inner surface of each light duct is a mirror surface. The light entering through an opening on the light entrance side of each duct is reflected by the inner surface, made to travel toward the opening on the light exit side, and made to exit through the opening on the light exit side. The cross-section area of each light duct increases in the direction in which the light travels inside the light duct.
