Description

TITLE: RECYCLING SYSTEM OF WATER PROVIDED FROM THE
WASHING MACHINE
INVENTOR: HENRIQUE, LUCILENA MARIA
DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION "RECYCLING SYSTEM OF WATER PROVIDED FROM THE
WASHING MACHINE" The present patent application of invention refers to a recycling system of water provided from the last cycle of the washing machine, basically it is a reservoir produced independent of the washing machine since the only connection with the washing machine is through the hose of the machine, the same hose that discards the dirty water to the sewer, the hose is connected to the recycling system where it does the passage of the water preventing connections with the mechanic parts of the washing machine and not interfering on the way it is produced. The recycling system is produced in many shapes and sizes and has diverse capacities of storage to attend the necessity of the user, especially planned to hold the water from the last cycle provided from any kind of domestic washing machine, this water can be reused on the first cycle of the next laundry, or to wash driveways, cars, rugs, water the plants and other utilities. It is possible to store and recycle a great propotion of water, preventing the waste of freshwater.
The actual need is how to store this water in a proper way with security and well adjusted. Many housekeepers are collecting and reusing this water, they are collecting with buckets and keeping it in tanks, containers, in flower watering cans or in other recipients. After collected they reuse it for diverse utilities. They do this simple process of collecting to provide economy on their water bills, to preserve the potable water or to help with the environment. However the inconvenience of this simple process adopted by these people is that most of the time the storage is inadequate since these containers don't have a cover and are keeped in laundry- rooms or in the backyard, this water doesn't recieve the right treatment and is being exposed to contaminations with bacterias and mosquitos larvaes which can cause diseases to people including the proliferation of the aedes aegypti transmitter of the "dengue". There is also the inconvenience of this kind of recipient not being adequate to hold a big proportion of water what makes this process of collecting with buckets a hard job for many people. An inconvenience with other systems to reuse the water is when all the water provenient from all the cycles of the washing machine goes through a high level of filtering what makes this kind of process very expensive and inadequate for the domestic use.
To solve such inconvenience the present patent of invention was developed, as a new recycling system provided from the last cycle of the washing machine, it comes to supply the necessities of many people, this object can store the water in a proper way, has a cover, filter and tube for the treatment of the water, this process provides an economy of up to 2 m3 monthly of potable water, what means an economy per year of up to 24000 liters of fresh water for the user.
Since the water from the last cycle comes out relativley clean it is possible to discard any expensive filtering system, what makes possible to use a simple kind of filter for fibre retention. Only if necessary the user can add desinfectant which can be placed in a tube into the recycling system for a better purification of the water, after this process the water is perfectly reusable for diverse utilities as long as it isn't the potable one. The object in question was planned to be adapted in domestic laundry-rooms and with a extention of the hose reuse the recycled water . The object in question can be produced with materials that are inexpensive like some kind of recycled plastic which provides a low cost on the production of it, and gives the easy access of this product to any social class, however it gives to the purchesers one practical and inovative recycling system, being this way the object of this present patent application of invention, which turns evident how secure, practical, economic and inovative this object is.
For the better function of this invention it became necessary to create the connected box which is introduced into the recycling system through the entrance (3) of the water reservoir (1). the connected box brings to the recycling system the capacity of the better distibution of the water intermediating it into the recycling system as directing the dirty water to the sewage. It has covers which control the openning and closing of the exit of water which is controlled by two buttons placed on the superior part of the cover of the recycling system, this turns it more practical and efficient. The connected box works exactly as an intermediate between the washing machine, the recycling system and the exit to the sewage. ADVANTAGEOUS EFFECTS
This invention has many utilities and advantages while it helps with the environment and saves a great proportion of fresh water, provides less water to be treated by big companies of this sector, the fact that this object is produced just for the domestic use gives the house keeper the opportunity to choose the water from the fine colors to be stored, when reused to wash clothes on the first cycle saves time and energy for the household, the production is independent and the connection is simple not interfering on the mechanical parts of the machine, can be produced with recycled plastic and has a simple kind of filter which provides a low cost on the production.
