Abstract
サブフィールド法により駆動される表示装置において、画像の低輝度部と高輝度部との間で異なる輝度重心位置を揃えるための映像信号処理装置(350)を設ける。 フレーム遅延回路(1)は現フレームの映像信号(VD)を1フレーム遅延させ、前フレームの映像信号(V2)を出力する。動き方向検出部(2)は、前記現フレームの映像信号(VD)と前記前フレームの映像信号(V2)に基づいて画像の動き方向を検出し、動き方向の情報を出力する。映像信号補正部(3)は前記前フレームの映像信号(V2)と前記動き方向検出部(2)から出力された動き方向の情報とに基づいて前記輝度重心位置の補正を行い、補正された映像信号(VE)を出力する。
