Abstract

Formulations that contain a specially adjusted combination of zinc sulphate and eteric oil of achilea millefolium. The usage of such formulations in treatment of viral infections herpes simplex type 1 or type 2 is shown. The zinc i.e. zinc sulphate has an antiviral activity i.e. take significant part in polynucleotide transcription and translation and with that in genetically expression. Whereas achilea millefolium aetheroleum has anti- inflammatory and astringently activity and intensify the activity of zinc sulphate. Use of the combination of extract of yarrow with zinc sulphate with an antiviral activity with adding in all pharmaceutical forms, whereupon pharmaceutical forms can be in liquid and semisolid form.
