Abstract

　コンテンツをダウンロードするサービスとして、契約を自動更新するサービスにおいて、端末側に保管された期限情報と、サーバ側で更新される期限情報の同期は、大量のコンテンツを頻繁に同期せざるをえず、負荷の増大などの課題がある。 　そこで、コンテンツの視聴許諾方法を、自動更新型と非自動更新型の２種に区別し、ＤＬ登録時に端末へ送信するメタデータにその種別を記載し、端末はそのメタデータに従って、自動更新型の場合、たとえライセンスが期限切れであるとしても、利用者からの再生指示とそれに伴うライセンスの更新を行う前の時点では、情報表示部のリスト表示画面において無条件に「自動更新」と表示し、非自動更新型の場合、リスト表示画面において、有効期限を確認してその期限を、或いは期限切れか否かを表示する。
