Abstract

For easily and inexpensively connecting a leading wiring and a terminal part of a driving means in an organic EL display device, a display part where a plurality of pixels formed of organic EL elements are arranged is formed on a substrate and the terminal part of the driving means driving the display part is connected to the leading wiring which is led onto the substrate outside the display part from the organic EL elements. The leading wiring has a transparent electrode which is pattern-formed on the substrate, and is formed of a transparent conductive material and it has an auxiliary electrode which is formed to cover a side and an upper face of the transparent electrode and is formed of a metallic conductive material in a connection region to which at least the terminal part of the driving means is connected.
